He worked as British Council Fellow to pursue postdoctoral studies at St. Andrews University Scotland for a year was awarded visiting associateship by Inter University Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) Pune and a research award by UGC. He has published several research papers in the different fields of plasma physics solar physics and magneto hydrodynamics.
