BSNL Double Data 1+1 Offer: Here’s Everything You Need to Know about It

After the launch of Reliance Jio, every telecom company has changed their internet tariff plans. On the hurdle of providing the best plans telecom sector is in big trouble. The new Reliance Jio effect: BSNL now offers ’1+1 free data’ for prepaid subscribers
BSNL has launched special data packs for its prepaid customers, which doubles the amount of data on offer. For example, users can get 18GB instead of 9GB data for Rs 1,498.
State-owned BSNL has launched a promotional offer under which prepaid customers get double benefit on four new data Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs). “Four new Data STVs have been launched on festive season on pan India basis with validity of 365 days with double data offer from October 10 to 31 October 2016,” Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) said in a statement.
Under this offer, Rs 1,498 will give 18 GB instead of 9 GB data, Rs 2,798 will give 36 GB instead of 18 GB, Rs 3,998 will give 60 GB data instead of 30 GB and Rs 4,498 will give 80 GB data instead of 40 GB data.
Director (CM) BSNL Board R K Mittal said that BSNL is committed to the benefit of its esteemed customers with utmost reliable and cheaper services.
BSNL in talks with companies for (VNO) virtual network operator deals
BSNL is expected to start partnering with virtual network operators (VNOs) and start services by January. A virtual network operator is telecom entity that provides telecom services like Internet and mobile landline as a retailer to big telecom operators like BSNL. VNOs are expected to bring down cost offering telecom services for BSNL and even give them room to slash tariff.
The state-run telecom operator has also decided to ramp up its mobile broadband capacity up to two-folds in a month to 600 terabytes. BSNL has also recently launched an unlimited 3G offer at Rs 1,099, which offers unlimited 3G access to users for 30 days without any speed restrictions.
