Lenovo's New Upgrade Vibe K5 Note, goes on sale tonight on Flipkart

Leading smartphone brand Lenovo today announced an upgrade of its "best-selling smartphone"-- Lenovo Vibe K5 Note. The new variant comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The smartphone will go on sale starting 11:59pm, February 21 onwards, exclusively on Flipkart for a price of Rs 13,499.
The new variant is sort of a smart move by Lenovo, since the 4GB/64GB model now pits against the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, which comes with a similar set of specifications. While the 32GB model of the device was head-on with the Redmi Note 3, among others.
Talking about the Vibe K5 Note 32GB variant, Lenovo has strategically paved the way for the 64GB model, by also offering a price cut on the previous 32GB Vibe K5 Note. Earlier priced at Rs 13,499, the device is now Rs 1,000 cheaper, now carrying the price tag of Rs 12,499.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note packs a 64-bit 8-Core 6755 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, up to 4GB RAM and a 3,500mAh battery. It also features a 1.5w speaker enabled by Dolby Atmos.
Moving to the camera on the device, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF support, which on the front, it features an 8-megapixel unit. Fuelling the device is a 3,500mAh battery with support for fast charging.
The device also comes with a support for fingerprint sensor, which is placed on the rear panel. For connectivity, the Vibe K5 Note comes with features like dual SIM support via hybrid slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, and Bluetooth. Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Vibe UI, the smartphone also comes preloaded with TheaterMax technology for VR.
Packed in an all-new symmetric design with premium metallic body, the Vibe K5 Note comes in Gold, Silver, and Dark Grey colour options.
