Reliance Revealed New Data Plans for Jio Prime Membership: Available from today

Along with the existing tariff plans, Reliance Jio has announced Jio prime membership offer for current Jio users with some added benefits. Once you become a Jio prime member you’ll be able to continue free benefits by just paying 303 Rs every month.

Reliance Jio Prime Membership Benefits

After being a Jio prime member, you’ll be able to continue using free services for another 1 year.

·         Exclusive plan of Rs 303/month to enjoy unlimited voice & other services with 1GB high-speed data daily.

·         Special discounts and offers on Jio and Jio Partners store.

·         Subscription to all Jio premium apps for 1 year.

·         Pre-access to all upcoming Jio services (Broadband, DTH and more).

We take a look at these plans and everything that’s new. 

Reliance Jio Rs 19 pack

The basic pack comes with one-day validity and bundled data of 100MB. This is for those who don’t subscribe for Jio Prime membership by paying Rs 99 per year. Prime members, on the other hand, get 200MB data with same one-day validity.

Reliance Jio Rs 49 pack

The pack offers validity of three days and data benefit of 300MB. For Prime members, Jio has bundled 600MB of data, which is double to that of the usual pack.

Reliance Jio Rs 96 pack

The pack comes with validity of seven days and data benefits of 600MB. For Prime members, Jio has bundled 7GB of data with daily Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limit of 1GB per day. After exhausting data, the speed will cut down to 128Kbps and will refresh every night at 12AM.

Reliance Jio Rs 149 pack

With this pack, users get a validity of 28 days with data benefits of 1GB and 100 free SMS. For Prime members, Jio has bundled 2GB of data and 100 free SMS for 28 days.

Reliance Jio Rs 303 pack

The Rs 303 pack is the one that was highlighted by Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani during his recent address. The usual pack offers validity of 28 days and data benefits of 2.5GB. Prime members, on the other hand, also get 28 days validity, unlimited internet access with a daily FUP limit of 1GB, after which speed will cut down to 128Kbps and will refresh every midnight.

Reliance Jio Rs 499 pack

Under this pack, non-Prime members get validity of 28 days, and 5GB of data, with daily FUP limit of 2GB. Prime members also get 28 days validity and unlimited high-speed internet access, with daily FUP limit of 2GB.

Reliance Jio Rs 999 pack

The plan is ideal for those who don’t want any restrictions with daily FUP limit. With the validity of 60 days, basic plan offers data benefits of 12.5GB without any restrictions. And if you are a Prime member, you get 60GB of high-speed 4G data, which is more than four times more than the usual pack. As there is no FUP limit, you get to use the data the way you want, and when you want.

Reliance Jio Rs 1,999 plan

The plan comes with 90 days validity and data benefits of 30GB, and there is no FUP limit either. And for Prime members, the validity remains the same, but data benefits are unlimited. However, there is a small catch here. Even though you get unlimited data, the high-speed 4G speeds are only up to 125GB, post which speed will cut down to 128Kbps. Also, unlike other plans, speeds won’t restore after midnight – once 125GB data ends, you’ll have to refill again to restore the speeds.

Reliance Jio Rs 4,999 plan

With the Rs 4,999 plan, you get validity of 180 days and data benefits of 100GB. And for Prime members, the data benefits are unlimited, with 4G speeds up to 350GB. After 350GB data is downloaded, the speed will then drop to 128Kbps.

Reliance Jio Rs 9,999 plan

This is the last plan with a validity of 360 days and data benefits of 200GB. In case of Prime members, data benefits are unlimited and high-speed 4G data up to 750GB after which speeds will cut down to 128Kbps.

These are for prepaid users and for postpaid subscribers there are three plans – Rs 303, Rs 499 and Rs 999, with the same data benefits as prepaid users. No doubt, for Prime members, plans priced between Rs 19 and Rs 499 offer good data benefits, but the FUP limit may be a downer for most. If you are one of those who want to download without any restrictions, plans between Rs 999 and Rs 9,999 could be apt.

The subscription to Jio Prime will be open from March 1 to March 31. If you want to enjoy Jio Prime benefits, don’t forget to subscribe before March 31.

How to become a Jio Prime Member

You can subscribe to Jio prime membership via MyJio app, Jio site or at any Jio Store. The subscription to Jio prime will start from March 1 midnight.

Subscribe to Jio prime using MyJio App

  1. Open MyJio app on your phone.
  2. Sign in with your Jio number.
  3. Click on recharge option in the home screen.
  4. Now select Jio Prime Membership Subscription.

  5. Pay 99 Rupees for Jio Prime subscription.

Get Jio Prime using Jio site

  1. Visit Jio recharge portal.
  2. Enter your Jio number and click submit.
  3. Select Jio Prime Membership.
  4. Proceed to pay Rs 99 for Jio Prime subscription.
  5. Jio Prime will be activated on your number.

Become Jio Prime member from Jio Store

  1. Visit any Jio Store or Jio partner store.
  2. Ask the staff to subscribe your number to Jio Prime.
  3. Pay Rs 99 via Cash or Card.
  4. Your number will be activated for Jio prime via Jio store.
